Describe the outcome in the client's language
For a proposed homeware launch, the client may need to choose between a warm domestic direction and a more graphic product presentation. State that decision directly. A proposal for unlimited AI creativity gives little guidance about what the engagement will actually resolve.
Identify the real placements and the client-supplied facts: product photographs, approved names, offer details, and brand artwork. Separate those inputs from visual elements you can explore in a new concept.
Show the deliverable and approval boundary
Specify whether the client receives a mood reference, a concept placed in a draft layout, or a finished campaign asset. If the final production requires another designer or photographer, name that stage and its owner.
| Section | Include | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Decision | The visual question the engagement should resolve | Gives the client a useful success standard |
| Deliverable | Concept views, presentation format, and file types | Prevents an atmosphere image becoming an assumed final asset |
| Review | Reviewer, feedback deadline, and revision boundaries | Makes the schedule workable |
| Production | Accurate imagery, typography, exports, and owners | Shows the work that follows concept approval |
Explain costs without selling a generation count
Describe briefing, exploration, selection, presentation, revisions, and finishing as work. A generation count can be an internal planning limit, but it is a weak description of client value. The client is paying for an agreed output and the judgment needed to reach it.
Keep third-party service costs visible in the estimate where relevant. THE RENDER OFFICE membership and OpenAI API usage are separate. Do not imply that a studio subscription includes every service charge or the labor required to finish a campaign.
Close with the next decision
Ask the client to confirm the proposed direction-selection task, supply the required assets, and identify the reviewer. A clear starting condition prevents production from beginning against missing facts.
Keep the proposal as a project record. When the brief changes, describe the new work and its effect before continuing. This guide provides a planning structure, not a contract or a promise that a concept will improve the client's sales.
Bring one launch brief to the studio.
Explore the controls against your own deliverable before choosing a membership. Generation requires ChatGPT sign-in, an active membership, and your own OpenAI API key. OpenAI usage is billed separately.
