Open The Render OfficeGeneration requires ChatGPT sign-in, an active Render Office membership, and your own OpenAI API key with image access. OpenAI usage is billed separately.
Connect a key for the current session
Sign in with ChatGPT, review the membership terms, and activate a plan. Prepare a brief and choose its format. Open Connect API, paste an authorized OpenAI key into the password field, and continue. The studio uses that key for generation during the open session.
The key is held in browser memory, not localStorage or an account credential vault. Reloading or leaving the studio clears that connection. Do not share a key in a prompt, screenshot, URL, public repository, or support request.
What happens to the key
A generation request sends the key and prompt over HTTPS to The Render Office server. After authentication, membership, and usage checks, the server sends the prompt to OpenAI using the key for authorization. OpenAI receives the prompt and generates the image.
The application does not persist API keys, prompts, or generated images in its database. Keys are not included in analytics payloads, URLs, public HTML, or application logs. The service must receive the key to make the request; this is not a claim that the server cannot access it. Review both our privacy notice and OpenAI’s current data policies before submitting confidential work.
Manage two separate budgets
Your membership pays for studio access and includes a monthly render allowance. OpenAI bills API usage to your own project separately. Repeated attempts and quality choices can affect provider usage; check current rates and monitor actual charges in OpenAI.
Use a dedicated project where appropriate, grant only the permissions needed for your work, and revoke or rotate a key in OpenAI if you suspect exposure. The Render Office cannot reset OpenAI spending, remove provider charges, or guarantee that an account limit prevents every possible cost.

Is my key stored in my Render Office account?
No. The current app holds it in browser memory during the session and uses it transiently on the server to call OpenAI.
Can I use a ChatGPT password instead?
No. Use an OpenAI API key, never an account password. ChatGPT sign-in and API authorization serve different purposes.
Are OpenAI charges included in a refund?
A Render Office refund concerns the eligible Stripe payment to this service. Separately billed OpenAI usage is managed by OpenAI.
