Review the boundary between image and page
Place the image on both actual page backgrounds. Check the visible frame, the subject's edge, and the transition into surrounding content. Decide whether the image should read as a contained panel or blend into the layout.
Do not assume a generated background is transparent because it looks plain. Check the actual file and design requirements. A pale background remains part of the image unless a separate editing process changes it.
Plan image and text roles for each appearance
Keep the same message and product facts while allowing a different crop or background treatment where necessary. A theme change should not make a label disappear or cause a product finish to look like a different variant.
| Element | Light layout | Dark layout |
|---|---|---|
| Image boundary | Check whether the frame feels intentional | Check for an unintended bright rectangle |
| Subject edge | Preserve separation from pale surfaces | Preserve separation from dark surfaces |
| Overlaid text | Review against the actual image area | Review again with the theme's real text style |
| Brand artwork | Use the approved asset variant | Use the appropriate approved variant |
Choose a shared source or separate treatments
One contained image may work in both layouts. Another assignment may benefit from two separately finished exports. Make that choice after reviewing the actual destinations rather than adding duplicate assets automatically.
Keep accurate product imagery and exact brand colors in the design workflow. THE RENDER OFFICE does not guarantee that a second generation changes only the background while preserving every subject detail.
Record which asset belongs to which layout
Name the exports and document their intended background. Include the actual text placement and crop notes so a later publisher does not swap the versions accidentally.
Check readability and interaction in the finished page, including the user's selected appearance. This planning method does not itself prove compliance with an accessibility standard or establish a conversion improvement. It helps the team identify the visual decisions that still need review.
